Terms of Service
Paint Party offers creative painting events for entertainment purposes where a tutor guides attendees through the creative process. The duration is 2-3 hours during which attendees create a piece of art while enjoying some refreshments provided by us.
Example artworks or painting sources provided by us can be used as guidelines, but attendees are free to improvise on their own art pieces, which they can take home as a keepsake from the event.
Events are limited to 28 people. Attendees are obliged to show proof of a purchased ticket.
Private Events may be organised at Mica’s Art Studio or another venue via our website, subject to availability and scheduling. It’s possible to order a custom artwork for a private event (for an additional fee) by contacting us through our website.
Our events are not designed to be academic in nature, they are intended to be fun and light hearted.
We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave who may be abusive or belligerent with any staff, venue employee or other participants.
1. Use of Facilities
Attendees are entitled to use the facilities at Mica’s Art Studio during events. We reserve the right to limit any or all parts of our facilities for any time period in connection to maintenance work, or for reasons beyond our control.
Children under the age of 16 may only use the Studio and attend events if accompanied by an adult and when under their care & supervision, however the Studio reserves the right of refusal for any minor to participate.
2. Supplies
All supplies, such as paint, brushes, canvases, aprons, or any other items and materials necessary for the completion of the piece will be provided by us. Please be advised to wear clothing you do not mind getting paint on as accidents happen to the best of us.
3. Personal Belongings
Personal belongings are brought onto studio premises at your own risk. Paint Party staff do not take responsibility for safekeeping or accept liability for any loss or damage whatsoever. For security reasons attendees are advised to leave valuables at home.
4. Limitation of Liability
Paint Party cannot be held responsible for any service or equipment not being available for whatever reason. The Company reserves the right to make alterations to the types of facilities provided, without notice and in its absolute discretion and the Company shall not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations except in so far as loss is by law incapable of exclusion. It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure that they are capable of undergoing an event provided by any event that they attend. The Company accepts no liability for loss or damage to property or injury of Guests to them on the Studio premises or outside the Studio except in so far as such loss, damage, or injury is by law incapable of exclusion.
5. Clothing
The company is not responsible for any paint or stains getting on the Guest’s clothes or shoes, or any damaged caused on the clothes. The Company will offer aprons to protect clothes but will not guarantee full protection of the clothing.
6. Payment
Ticket purchases are billed at the time of purchase. We do require reservations with payment to secure seats and uphold a strict Cancellation Policy (see below). To register with a Gift Certificate, proceed to registration for the class of your choice, during the payment options there will be a place for you to enter the code from the certificate.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your Paint Party ticket at any time. This is a live entertainment event. The Cancellation/Refund policy is non-negotiable. We understand that last minute emergencies and unforeseen events happen, but due to the nature of this event, the Cancellation/Refund policy will be applied without exception. A refund will be given for individuals canceling with at least 48 hours notice before the start of the event. No exceptions. If you have a gift card or pass, then that will no longer be valid for other events. If you are late to the event you may not be allowed to participate and your payment will be forfeited. All guests must show their valid online ticket when entering the studio. Private Events must be cancelled no less than one week before for a full refund, and 72 hours for partial refund. If participants in the Private Group don’t cancel within 72 hours we reserve the right to invoice for the predetermined amount of guest. Participants must notify via email to give prior notice of cancellation or reschedule. Paint Party reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to class time and refunds will be processed. We reserve the right to change any event start time, date, ticket price or location. We will notify customers by email if those changes are made. If our event is rescheduled or canceled, we reserve the right to issue a refund or substitute your purchase with another painting class event ticket of greater or the same value. If you enter your friend(s)’ name, you will be charged for their tickets.
8. Social Media
We want to show off how much fun we’re having and reserve the right to display and promote images and videos of our events and participants on our website and social media interfaces such as Facebook, Instagram, and other blogs or networks. By purchasing ticket(s) and arriving at our Event(s), you agree to provide Paint Party the full right to upload your personal image/photograph/videos of the event to any of Paint Party’s website and social media platforms, including electronic mail (emails) for promotional, presentation and marketing purposes.
9. General
The Company reserves the right to refuse admission to the Studio. Guests must at all times observe the Studio guidelines which may be notified to them from time to time and are requested to comply with any reasonable directions which the management of the Studio may issue to ensure the smooth operation of the Studio. The Company may, if a participant so wishes, communicate with the Guest by email. By providing an email address to the Company the Guest consents to receiving email communications from the Company, including notices pursuant to the Terms & Conditions. The Guest also accepts any risk that email may not be a fully secure and confidential means of communication. The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of communicating with a Guest in this manner.
10. Privacy Policy
We do not share our email list with any other company or promoter. To receive updates and be part of our community, simply subscribe to our newsletter. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Paint Party Services, as well as the use of the Ticket, including all features of Paint Party’s website (the “Website”), user experience, all content associated therewith (collectively the “Paint Party Service” or “Service”). When you or the person for whom you have purchased the Ticket eventually utilize the Ticket, you/they will sign up for a Paint Party event (the “Event”) and will then be bound by the Event’s own set of terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Paint Party Service, including the Website, and you should not purchase the Ticket. All references herein to “you” or “your” shall mean and refer to the person who purchased the Ticket, and includes any persons that eventually utilize the Ticket to attend the Event. The term “studio” or “venue” shall mean the location where the Event will take place. The term “Website” shall mean the website hosted by (and all pages contained therein). The term “Ticket” shall mean a revocable license or licenses which you or a person for whom you have purchased the Ticket may utilize to attend the Event, and includes any gift Ticket purchased. Our website contains copyrighted and proprietary information. No visitor or Participant is allowed to download or share any images or text from our site. No visitor or Participant is allowed to recreate our website for personal use, that includes saving our website in full or in part on his or her hard drive or in a PDF or other file.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, Paint Party owns, solely and exclusively, all rights, title and interest in and to the Site, all the content (including, but not limited to, audio, photographs, illustrations, graphics, other visuals, video, copy, text, paintings and software), code and date on the Site, including, but not limited to, any copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights, database rights and other intellectual property and proprietary rights therein (collectively, the “Materials”). 3. Use license
Permission is granted to access and view the Materials and, unless otherwise indicted in these Terms of Use, download one (1) copy of the Materials for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only (the “License”). The License is not a transfer of title. Under the License, You may not:
• Modify the Materials or copy the Materials more than one (1) time;
• Use the Materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer the Materials;

4. Payment Term
Details of event prices and discounts are available on our Website or shall be such prices as determined by the Company from time to time. Subject to any statutory right of cancellation, payments for events can be credited to the Guest’s account if notice is given by the cancellation deadline which is 48 hours due to unforeseen circumstances (exceptions may be made for certain medical/personal circumstances at The Company’s discretion).

7. Force majeur
Neither Party shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any obligation under any agreement which is due to an event beyond the control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or manmade eventuality outside of our control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered into, nor which could have been reasonably foreseen. Any Party affected by such event shall forthwith inform the other Party of the same and shall use all reasonable endeavors to comply with the Terms and Conditions of any agreement contained herein.
8. Waiver
Failure of either Party to insist upon strict performance of any provision of any agreement or the failure of either Party to exercise any right or remedy to which it, he or they are entitled hereunder shall not constitute a waiver thereof and shall not cause a diminution of the obligations under any agreement. No waiver of any of the provisions of any agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
